South of Östersund. Vast forests with fascinating systems of lakes and watercourses. Narrow rivers, long lakes and many islands. Lunchtime: lots of good food and equipment packed in the canoes and we're ready to push off. Adventure awaits!
A 24-hour paddling adventure!
After a few hours of paddling. Food and rest at the water’s edge. Tired from the day’s efforts and impressions. Full of the chef’s delicacies. A swim, perhaps? A while at the fireside? Then peacefully falling asleep to the sound of the wind in the trees and the murmuring waves.
Another day! New opportunities! New waters to discover! New views! Perhaps a beaver will surface in front of the canoe. Or an elk pass on the shoreline. The paddling continues for few more hours. A tranquil and relaxing way to travel.

Now you can start your adventure with a stay at one of STF-Youth Hostels; Ledkrysset. After having breakfast we gather for information and take-off.
